MyBTX Online Shipment (Step 3)

Now that the shipper and consignee information has been entered, service details and options are selected, now it is time to enter Shipment Details:

1. Shipment Detail: Units Options – Using the drop-down boxes provided, you may set the Units of Measure to pounds or kilograms (Weight); and to inches or centimeters (Dimensions)

2. Shipment Detail: Count, Weight, Dimensions, Description – Enter the appropriate information for each category:

   • Piece Count – The total number of pieces which match the unit weight, Dimensions and Detailed Description you are about to enter

   • Unit Weight – The actual weight of one piece of the group of pieces you are entering on an individual line.  **Reminder** In order for multiple pieces to be listed on one line, they must be of the same unit weight, dimensions and description.

   • Total Weight – The program calculates Total Weight for you.

   • Dimensions – Enter the length, width and height of the piece(s) you are detailing on an individual line.

   • Detailed Description – A reasonably detailed description of the items you are shipping.
